We are glad to announce the release of the debut single from Bad Halloween , Like I'm on a Holiday! Like I'm on a Holiday is a pop punk song inspired by All Time Low about comparing a breakup to going on holiday!
The song opens with synth that makes up the catchy backing track you hear throughout. There is also heavy use of electric guitar, adding punch to the song! This is accompanied by bass and drums , making a catchy song you won't be able to get out of your head! The song features a fantastic vocal performance which is reminiscent of Tom Delonge of Blink-182! Once you hear the chorus, you'll be singing it for days with lyrics :
It's like I'm on a holiday / Don't wish that you was here / Bring you a souvenir / From the time I got away / It's like I'm on a holiday / Out here the skies are blue / Clouds must have followed you / It's like I'm on a holiday
This is indicative of the witty writing on display in the song with the verses also containing the same reference to the theme and quotable lyrics you'll remember!
The cover for the single features a postcard illustration of a beach with a stamp in the right hand corner and the Bad Halloween logo designed as a stamp, owing cleverly to the theme of the song! It is colorful and creative which makes it the perfect association to the song! The cover was designed by an artist known as Mirko from a concept by Reece Fennel.
The song was written by Reece Fennel with vocals by Christian Diana, instruments performed by Rob Bellusci, mixing by Christian Diana, mastering by Tyler Wiery and production duties carried out by Reece Fennel and Christian Diana.
